Nissan Repair: nissan sentra 2003, nissan sentra, brake rotor

Question
I own a sentra. So far every thing is fine. But when the car moves (with engine on, I could not test with engine off) a noise comes out as if the tire on the drivers side is touching some thing and the noise gets faster as he car moves faster. I saw under the car and under the whee, nothing suspecting could be seen. I recently had new tyres and the noise disappeared atleast for about 3 months. Now It has come back. Can you please suggest what could be the problem.

Thanks
DZ

Answer
Danzung,

If there is a rubbing noise, first jack up the car on that side and inspect for tire contact with the inner and outer fender well.  Next check to see that the CV joint is not damaged or that something is rubbing on the shaft.  Lastly, inspect the brake rotor and pads for wear.  Those are the areas where rubbing noise would occur.
