Nissan Repair: pathfinder, air control valve, coil pickup

i have an 89 pathfinder driving to work it started to run rough then died gave a couple if weeks and she ran fine until she got warm, i did a full tuneup and now she will start but wont idle and my tach dosent work help

If the tach does not work and the vehicle will not idle would lead me to think the idle air control valve is defective and the tach part would be the coil pickup or the module is defective.  Check the coil and the tach pickup.  Email me back with what you find.
