Nissan Repair: sunroof, roof seal, sun roof

How do I adjust the sunroof on my 2000 Xterra?  It leaks air and when I wash the car it drips in.

Hi Ron -

I am not sure whether it can be adjusted. You did not say if it is a power assisted roof, or manual. I will assume it is power. Usually if there is an adjustment, it is on the arm that guides the roof open and closed.

I am thinking it is your sun roof seal around that opening which is worn and can't provide an effective barrier. Might want to replace that and it should do the trick.
