Nissan Repair: climate control, climate control system, automatic climate control

my 95 maxima's climate control isn't working properly. the aircon compressor won't cut out when the desired cabin temp is reached and the heater does'nt work at all. where do I start?

Answer
The computer controller board is a known failure point on the automatic climate control system.  If it were me I would go to the wrecking yard to get a replacement board.  This is directly behind the control panel.  The reason I say this is that the compressor does not cut out and the heat does not work.  If one or the other was on the fritz then it would be that seperate component.  Besides, the control board is the prime suspect on this year model.
