Nissan Repair: 94 nissan P/U 2.4L XE Fuselinks, phillips screwdriver, courtesynissan

Question
My drivers side highbeam Headlight is not getting power, I have replaced the bulb only to find the same problem with a new one, I have checked the fuses that i can find and they all  seem good. Do you know if there are any fusible links that power only that circuit? Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.

Answer
Jim,

Nissan uses contact points in the headlight switch.  These are independent, both left and right and high beam and low beam.  The headlight switch needs to be replaced.  All it takes is a phillips screwdriver and the steering wheel does not need to come off.  rockauto.com or courtesynissan.com are cheap sources for the switch or you can get one from the local parts store.
