Nissan Repair: 89 Nissan Pickup V6 4x4, power steering pump, fuel pump relay

Question
I have an 89 Nissan pickup. I just replaced the power steering pump, but the pressure switch from the outlet port of the power steering pump is broken off. Also, there is a small wire connected to the exhaust manifold, which I'm thinking is a ground. Anyway, while I was removing or replacing the power steering pump, I must have broken it from its connector and cant figure out where its supposed to connect. Now my fuel pump isn't pumping at all. Its not the fuse. I dont know if it is the fuel pump relay.
Do you think that wire or the pressure switch would have anything to do with it not coming online? Make any suggestions if you can.

Answer
Justin,

The pressure switch bumps up the idle and if it is not connected.  The ground on the exhaust is to give better connectivity for the oxygen sensor.  The fuel pump would not be related.  I would check the fuse, relay and pump pressure to make sure you have connectivity and if you do the pump is gone.  If there is no power to the pump replace the relay after checking the fuse.
