Nissan Repair: I screwed up my brothers car..., inner tie rod, c perry

Question
I hit a curb avoiding an accident at a high rate of speed.  The front left wheel is leaning inward at the bottom, outward on top.  Inner tie rod is bent, I can replace that in like 1 hr. Alignment is off for sure as well, strut appears intact, but something else is going on. I am wondering just off the top of your head, what is else could be dammaged?  I want to know before I take it in and get raped by a mechanic.  Time is important, he is out of town and returns Tuesday.

Answer
C. Perry,

You need to check the runout on the wheel to make sure that the bearing has not been damaged.  That is, put a good wheel on and lthen jack up the car and spin the wheel to see if it runs true.  Other than that check the parts to see if any are bent.  The lower control arm comes to mind.  I had a Corsica that had a bent lower control arm from the same thing.  So, not only was the tie rod bent, but the lower control arm was too.
