Nissan Repair: 96 240sx fuse problem, initial failure, 240sx

i have recently had the same problem that was described in a post  on 11/18/2005. a 30A ignition fuse blows when ignition is turned to the on position. initial failure was while moving. only things that work are headlights, hazards, horn and dome lights.  i have determined cause is not starter or alternator. was wondering if any solution was ever determined for the post last nov. or an other help would be greatly appreciated.

If the ignition fuse is blowing and the alternator and starter is good then I would check the wiring for shorting to the starter and if you have an aftermarket alarm I would check that too.  If both of these are in good order then it is the ignition switch.
