Nissan Repair: 94 altima shuts down when it hits 2k rps, air flow meter, nissan altima


Question
i have a 94 altima i jest started @ a light stop to loose it power it shut down as soon as you pump on the gas and it hits 2,000 rps. i change the TPC that didnt solve the problem i took it to the nissan dealer to ther a computer check up it came out that the meter air flow meter is defective i jest change it it didnt solve the problem, i dont know what alse it could be any more although it could be the lock up converter not shure this vehicle has gothen a couple upgrades some aftermarket performance park never had no problem untill now,am open for any sugestions.

Change the air meter if you have not done so.  Clear the code in the computer by disconnecting the battery or use a code scanner.  Once the code is cleared retest and see if the problem has gone away.  If not email me back.  If a code is still present and you did replace the part the computer will still see it as a problem until the code gets cleared.
