Nissan Repair: car stalls while driving, 2004 nissan altima, nissan altima

Question
I have a 2004 Nissan Altima.  Everytime I start the car, the car starts up fine.  A couple of times I would be driving, and after a while the car would just stall while driving on the road or freeway.  I have noticed that some days, not everyday, when I would accelerate, it would either hesitate or it didn't accelerate at all and would just stall.  one time the engine light came on but then would turn right back off. I sat there in a panic for a few seconds, restarted the car and it drove fine. The car already has had a tune-up so now i don't know what it could be.

What could have possibly caused this and/or solution? Thanks in advance for any input

Answer
A Soro,

I would be looking at a defective fuel pump or the cam position sensor.  You really need to go to Autozone or Pepboys and read the codes.  Even if the light goes out the code will be stored.  I checked and there are no recalls on your vehicle for this condition.  Have the fuel pressure checked as well as having the codes read.
