there is a ticking noise in upper engine (sounds like tappets)

Change the oil to Mobile 1 5W30 engine oil and see if that takes care of the noise.  Now, it will take a couple of days to get the oil galleries cleaned out.  And, on initial start up it will tick.  But, after the engine reaches operating temperature the tick should go away.  If not you might have to pull the valve cover and replace that cam follower and dampener.  But, do the oil first as it usually works.
