Nissan Repair: 88 PATHFINDER, crank angle sensor, computer distributer

DEAR VON SUDDERTH I HAVE THE 88 PATHFINDER WITH THE SEASONAL PROBLEM. THIS IS MY THIRD QUESTION TO YOU SO I HOPE IM NOT BECOMING A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO YOU. BUT YOUR ADVICE SEEMS TO BE RIGHT ON. SO ILL EXPLAIN IT TO YOU IN MORE DETAIL(ILL JUST START OVER)IT HASA V6 WITH 230K MI,NEW COMPUTER,DISTRIBUTER,CRANK ANGLE SENSOR,CAP,ROTOR,WIRES,PLUGS,O2 SENSOR,AIR FILTER,FUEL FILTER. AFTER SPRAYING THE CAP AND WIRES WITH WD40 AND CHECKING THE WIRES THAT GO TO THE DIST. IT DIDNT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE. I TOOK IT FOR A DRIVE AND TRIED TO MIMIC THE PROBLEM AND THE CLOSEST I CAN COME IS LETTING MY FOOT OFF THE GAS ABOUT HALF OF WHAT THE CURRENT THROTTLE POSITION IS. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?WHEN I LISTEN TO HOW THE ENGINE AND EXHAUST SOUNND WHEN THIS PROBLEM OCCURS IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS LOSING SPARK VOLTAGE(NOT ALL BUT SOME)OR MISFIRING,WHEN I SIT IN THE DRIVEWAY AND LET IT IDLE IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS GETTING THE IGNITION SHUT OFF, THEN IT WILL IDLE THEN TRY TO DIE THEN IDLE THEN TERY TO DIE AND SOME TIMES DIE. BUT IF I GIVE IT GAS,WHEN IT HAPPENS, IT WILL REV UP,THEN IT TRYS TO DIE THEN REVS UP THEN TRYS TO DIE AND REVS UP AND SO ON.ALL THIS IS HAPPENING RANDOMLY  BUT MORE CONSISTANTLY LATELY.IT SEEMS TO DO THIS "PROBLEM"MORE WHILE DRIVING.ALTHOUGH IT DOES IT AT IDLE,MY COMPUTER HAS NOT GIVIN ME ANY DTC'S, AND ALL THIS HAPPENED AS SOON AS IT GOT COLD AND STARTED RAINING AND SNOWING,DURING THE SUMMER IT RUNS GREAT NOT A PROBLEM,AND THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR IT HAS DONE THIS.IVE HAD THIS TO 2 DIFFRENT SHOPS AND THEY DID THEIR DIAGNOSTIC AND OTHER THAN THE COMPUTER ONE SAID AND THE CRANK ANG SENS THE OTHR SAID EVERY THING CHECKED OUT OK.ONE NIGHT WHILE DRIVING JUST BEFORE THIS PROBLEM STARTED(BUT AFTER THE CAP AND WIRE FIX) AND WHILE IT WAS COLD,IT DIED AND WOULDNT START UP AT ALL.THEN I TOOK OFF THE AIR CLEANER TOP AND IT STARTED THEN GOT HOME AND CHECKED THE DTC AND GOT A 12(AIR FLOW METER)CHECKED IT FOUND NOTHING, THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE AND HASNT HAPPEMED SINCE.THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE WITH THIS PROBLEM

I know this is going to sound stupid.  But, check the fuel pressure with a gauge and drive the vehicle to see if the fuel pressure is dropping off.  If the relay that runs the pump is corroded and it is exposed to humid weather you could be getting intermittent contact and that could cause the fuel pump to drop pressure and then you get back on the gas and there is enough voltage to overcome the resistance and the pump gets good contact.  I have seen this only one other time on a 200SX.
