Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 2002 Bravada/Oldsmobile, crank shaft, bravada oldsmobile

Question
Problem happened 2 times;on the road about 15 minutes, going 70 miles an hour on Interstate, the car just died!No warning,no chugging, just like someone had turned the key off.All dash board lights were on, but no error code appears when checked. After around 5 minutes, car will start again. I drove it for 2 days, approx 200 miles, & it happened again. But only after running less than 5 minutes.I talked to Olds dealer, had never heard of this problem. It is currently with the dealer that sold it to me in August 2004. He is trying to make it do it again, but as of today, it still has not happened. Have you ever heard of this problem were the car just shuts down without any warning and computer shows no error codes. Also, per mechanic that is currently looking at it says that the Gas Presure is ok. I thought it might be the Fuel pump or filter.

Answer
intermittents are the hardest problems to resolve.

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a vacuum line may have been knocked loose or a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed.

The most common faults that I have seen for this have been:

1. Intermittent ignition module.
2. Intermittent crank shaft sensor.
3. Intermittent fault in the fuel pump circuit within the
vehicles computer that provides battery voltage to the
  fuel pump.

What is happening is that the intermittent is caused by a HEAT SENSITIVE electrical component within the component.
