Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: electrial, fan motor, temperature sensor

where would a fan relay be at on 1989 biuck lesabare what would be the easy way to by pass?

Probably on the left front fender area, under the hood.
I would swap it with another to see if the relay was the problem.
Then, I would jumper wire directly to the fan motor to see if it was ok.
Then I would be checking the temperature sensor, and wires.
An easy way to bypass it would be to wire the fan motor directly to ignition power, but fixing it would be better.
