Plymouth Repair: 2000 Plymouth Neon, plymouth neon, fuel pump

My Neon started and then died.  When I started it again, it ran for a minute and then died again.  On the third try it would not turn over at all.  A round red light was flashing then.  What could this be?  The car has been running fine and the battery is fairly new.  The lights were still bright like the battery is fine.

this sounds like a fuel pump . it would help if you could tell me what the red light meant . i would say the fuel pump is bad. good luck to u hun and you have a pretty name and if u need more help u let me know . and please rate my serivice pete
