QUESTION: THE FIRST THING I WOULD LIKE TO TELL U THE SERVICE AIR BAG POPSS UP. JUST WANTED TO TEL U THAT BUT THE PROBLEM REALLY IS THE CAR CUTS OFF WHILE DRIVEING I WOULD HAVE TO PULL OVER THEN WHEN I TRY TO CRANK IT ACT LIKE I NOT GETTING ANY POWER THE LIGHTS WANT COME ON ON THE DASH BOARD OR NOTHING WHEN TURN IT FOWARD NO POWER THEn I WILL WAIT FOR ABOUT TWO MINS AN THEN SHE CRANKS

do all these things happen at the same time or at different times? does this car have a sunroof? I would have the car scanned for codes at one of the big box auto parts stores and see what codes are stored. Any codes stored will lead towards maybe a common problem. I would look at the battery cables at the attery first off and check for corrosion or a loose connetion at the battery. see what codes are stored and you can go from there. One last thing when this does happen do you have eletrical power like interior lamps when you open the door or head lamps if you turn them on?

QUESTION: [Pontiac G6 Gt] No it does not happen at the same time it does not have sun roof we have took   it to autozone but the said they cant detect anthing cause check engin lite aint on ...[an yes we do have all power to head lites interior lamps}.... please help . someone told me it could be the security box that would make the system disable an that does come on  befor the car cuts off.an the battery is ok

the security system will not cuase the car to stall while driving. when this happens do you notice anything odd with the speeedo cluster does the odometer read "error" anthing else odd does the blower motor work? It may be an issue with communication between the modules on this car all the computer mudules are inter connected so if one module had a brain fart it may effect the others. the facy that this has a sun roof throws into the mix a wtareleak into the car if that is the case water in the interior can reeg havoc on ground connections and modules that are on the floor. The air bag module is under the center console and if there is water leaking into the car the padding under the carpet can act like a wick and be drawn up ind into the air bag module it may be worth feeling around under the floor mats to see if the carpet feels wet if so your on the right path.
