Pontiac Repair: heater noise, fan blade, blower motor

my 2004 sunfire has a clicking sound in the heating system coming from in behind the glove compartment. It only goes off if you turn the knob to recycle air. unaffected by fan speed or turning fan off.
Is there a door in the system making that clicking sound?

Hi Wiliam:

well it sounds like omething got stuck in the heater motor is is toucking the fan blade on the motor. You need to take the motor out of the heatre box and see waht is touching the fan blade or stuck in the fan. The blower motor comes out of the boootom of the heater case on the right siade under the glove box. It has just 3 screws that hold it into the heater box.
