Pontiac Repair: blown head gasket?, blown head gasket, oil smoke

QUESTION: why do I have steam in exhaust in my 1996 grand prix? Could it be head gasket or intake gasket?

ANSWER: could be a blown head gasket, are you low on coolant? and is it a lot of white smoke or just a lil bit that dissapates quickly?

QUESTION: coolant is a little low, no oil smoke,appears to be water vapor

some water vapor is normal from the exhaust, do you have any other driveability issues?  just curious as to why you think the head gasket is blown.  If it was you would seE ALOT of white smoke that would take several mintues to disappear, and it would be low on coolant and running poorly
