Pontiac Repair: 2000 Firebird 3.8, service engine soon light, knock sensor

Tim, where is the knock sensor located on my 3.8 firebird?  Is it something I can do myself or is it something I should take to shop.  The service engine soon light is on and the scan tool said left bank knock sensor low output.

its mounted to the bottom left side of the engine block, best guess would be if you can get under the car safely and see it, you should be able to replace it, however you will need to drain the cooling system before replacement and then refill it after, and it may require a special socket or wrench, the instructions do not state it, but it may be true
