RV Repair: slide out shear pins, shear pins, yellowstone np

I ama RVIA RV Tech working the summer at Yellowstone NP. I have had a couple of RVs that had the drive train shear pins sheared and want to know short of calling every manf.where I can obtain an assortment of these pins and how to determine which pins to use so if bound up again the pin will shear to prevent damage to the gear drive assembly?

Jim, Short of calling all the manufactures and getting extra's from them, I would say try and go to a hardware store and getting a roll pin assortment. Most of the pins they have in as you know are just this type. If you have access to a hardware store or even a fastener place you should be able to fill your needs. I hope this helps, Bill
