RV Repair: slide out motor, arnold arnold, golden falcon

I have a 1998 Glendale Golden Falcon fifth wheel. two of the gears broke in the main slide out motor gear box. the manufacture if the motor & gear box is PowerGear. the part number is 520317S. power gear will only sell me the motor and gear box combination. my motor is excellent,I only need the gear box.Can you help me find an alternative.

Arnold, This is the trouble with some manufactures. They sell what they call an assembly. The only place that I have been able to find just a gear box has been at ebay. You may have a hard time trying to find it though. One other thing you might try and this happens only sometimes is to go to a R.V. repair shop and see if the gears in your gear box might match up with other gears that are out there, like RBW or atwood. I am referring to the landing jack gears. They come in kits that have basically the gears. I believe that I have a gear box here and I will look tomorrow morning to see if I do.
