RV Repair: Rv Furnace, north central usa, exhaust ducts

Question
Situation: add heat to a 8' x 30' gooseneck cargo trailer with insulated walls and ceiling; 1" flooring not insulated; approx 1700 cu ft of space to heat and use 4 seasons in north central USA.
Question: what BTU capacity RV heater would be recommended?? and tips for a permanent install?

Answer
Well....you have the choice of forced air or catalytic. Forced air needs a power supply and venting to the outside, "cats" don't. Cats are quite and work very well. Their like a fire place, they give off radiant heat...they don't heat the air ,they only heat solid objects and the solid object warms the air.
You'll need 30-40 BTUs to keep that puppy warm.
I'd recommend a forced air, its more work to install but you'll find it worth it. Suburban NT 30 or SF 40 are good choices. They work find mounted into any cabinet or on the floor.venting to the outside is your first measurement..then exhaust ducts/hoses, then fuel (LPG lines) ,then power to 12vdc. The units come with complete instructions for air space and box separation.
