RV Repair: onan propane generator, propane generator, propane tank

I have a 2800 onan  propane generator. It wont start. It has good spark, only 16 hrs on it. Propane tank is full. It is on a travel van

Hi Roger, The carburetors on propane gens are famous for getting plugged with LP sludge. But ck oil level first. Onans will not start if they are low on oil. If you have access to the Gen. Remove the cover a ck the light on the start switch. It may be in a ck engine lock out mode. The light will blink 3 times if this is the case. If that is the problem..You will have to take it in for service. Good Luck
