RV Repair: Solenoid and relay wiring - slideout, ohm meter, voltmeter

Question
I have a 1993 Hitchhiker II.  I'm replacing the solenoid and relay for the slideout, but can't get it to work.  I'm guessing I have it wired wrong.  Any suggestions?  Where might I get the wiring diagram?

Diagram should be available from the tech support people at the factory. It does sound like a wiring problem. You might try looking for the relay coil wires and check with an ohm meter to see if the coil is OK and with a voltmeter to see if you are getting voltage to the coil. Good luck.
