RV Repair: window repair/removal, drive screws, sportsmaster

Question
We have a 98 Sportsmaster with a broken window by the table.  It is the small sliding window.
We have contacted a Glass Repair shop to put in new glass.  We were told to remove the window and bring it in.  We can not figure out how to to remove the window.  We have removed the trim around the window but we can not get it to move.  Are there something holding it in that we can't see?  Is there anyway to remove just the sliding window?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Jill

Answer
The window is probably screwed in from the outside. Look for some vinyl "screw cover" on the outside of the window. Remove it, and you should see the screws to remove. They are probably square-drive screws, which is what is used in most RV's. If you don't have a square-drive bit, you should be able to find one at the hardware store.
It is also possible that it is screwed from the inside (although unlikely on a '98) But there would be screws showing after you remove the interior trim.
