I have had IGL, Jayco dealer look  at claim to fix, I even sent the canvas in to be cleaned a fix all dry rot. Camper looked new after about $2000.00. Next spring took out of indoor storage, drove hme in the rain opened in about two weeks, water and mold. I brought back they ssid no guareenty and they couldn/t find anything rechaulk i did and it leaked. i dried it up closed and closed for the winter. Tried a new place they looked couldn't find anything, showed where ot chaulk. seemed to wodk then leaked alittle.  Chaulked and closed. Broght in again in spring before my trip to SD. They fixed some things and chaulked with some just that got hard but didn't leak on vacation. This spring a pond and it is so moldy in the front - side panel and front icried.  For five yeaars we always got complimented on how new it looked. This was my baby. when I divorced it is all I got. It is very disappointing to think i did everything I could and all i have now is a mold.I tried powerwashing with cleaners- but no luck. Wood is moldy and soft and screws popping out. I don't know what to do. The money I have invested i could have bought a new one.

Answer
Sharon,
Sorry to hear of all the problems you have had with your unit.
As far as the leak is concerned, have yourself or a friend get in inside the trailer while the other hoses it down from the outside. Don't be afraid to really douse it and spray it hard. Many times leaks are very small, but when the wind blows or you are going down the road, it really can shoot into the inside of the trailer.
It sounds like you will have to replace some of the wood. You should be able to get some that looks good at Home Depot or Lowes. It would cost a lot less than going through an RV dealer or supply store.
You may have to have someone come in and professionally spray to completely get rid of all traces of the mold. But make sure you find all leaks first.

I hope this helps and good luck,
Dave
