RV Repair: Refrigerator vent, lance truck camper, roof vent

Question
I own a Lance Truck Camper 2001 model 820. Last weekend I drove under a low lying branch and smashed up the refrigerator roof vent (a Dometic model RM2554). The plastic cap is completely shot and the metal vent underneath is dinged up and probably should be replaced. Can you give me info or direct me to a place where I can find out how to do this job? What type of caulk/sealant, tricks on removing the old vent, etc. Thanks

Hi Richard:
I get my vents from Northwest Trailer Parts, I think they have a web site. Usually there are four srews holding the vent. I use clear RTV sealer under the vent and a little around the vent when it is tight. Good luck. If you have trouble give me your address and I'll mail you one.
