Question
I would like to raise part of the rvs roof 10 inches. How hard would that be? I have a c cab motor home and the bed above the driver needs more head room. The motorhome in question is a old 1978 van/convertion dodge dreamer.

I have raised the roof on buses but not on a class c, the buses were fairly simple to do. I am not sure if yours has a steel, aluminum or wood frame but in any case I would remove the paneling and insulation and take a good look before deciding what to do. I would venture to say it should not be too difulcult if you have done this type of work before. You have to take into account if the structure you are working on plays a major role in the support or not, if it does will the modification have enough strength to replace the original setup. etc etc...
