Was the leak created by damage to the trailer or did it occur over time?

The best way is to remove the trim on the corner and repair the complete corner. If you have a small leak and you know exactly where it is, you can use a seal on that location for temporary repair. There are several different types of seal or caulk you can use, just make sure it dries flexible. Silicone is the best. In most cases if the leak appears over time then you will have more leaks occuring because of breakdown in the seal and wear and tear.
