Saab Repair: 1997 Saab Convertible Top Leaks, scotch guard, rain water

Hi, I have a 1997 Saab with 64K miles on it. When I encounter heavy rain water enters the cabin around the top of the window area and where the top latches to the front windshield.  When I turn or back up is when the water drips into the cabin. What can I do to stop this?

We have one i nthe shop right now doing this. It actually is leaking through the top fabric. We have never seen this before, but same symptoms you describe. The customer either needs to replace the top or try to scotch guard it and hope that works. I doubt it will
