Saab Repair: 2000 Saab 93 turbo, vacuum hose, saab 93

My brake pedal does not come up all the way when I press it. It makes the vehicle slow down. The brake lights stay on when the pedal is down. The pedal can be moved up manually by foot. What can be the problem?

If your car has an auxilliary vacuum pump it is likely that the pump has failed and is now pumping oil into power booster. Take the vacuum hose out of the booster and put something in there like a wire or coathanger. If it comes out oily you need to replace the pump,the booster and I'd do the vacuum hose between the 2 also.
