Saab Repair: Saab, saab 93, colcord

Question
I have a 2004 Saab 93 that has not been started in 6 months and the battery is dead. I need to move the car by pushing it out of the garage and the key will not turn to allow me to put the shift in neutral. How can I get the car to move by pushing?

Sorry it took so long. You can get it out of park by removing the rubber trim in front of the shifter, there is a yellow lever under there that must be pushed down to release the park lock mechanism.I believe this is spelled out in more detail in the owners manual
