Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman engine

I have an old 2.5 HP Craftsman horizontal shaft "Reserve Power" engine that I would like to know the age of.  The engine number is 143-651052, and the serial number is 50280.  I have had this thing in my shop for AGES & have never used it for anything.... just curious.  THANKS.......Fred

You have a Tecumseh H30-35311K.

As for the age, the first digit of the serial number is the year of manufacture.
