Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snow blower, mtd snow blowers, toro wheel horse

Question
I plan to get a snow blower but I do not know where to start. How big of a snow blower and what brand I need to get? Can you provide some guidance? I  have a three car garage driveway. Thanks

Answer
Hello J:

>>I Usually Do Not give Suggestions about Equipment, but I will make an Exception.
>>There are Many Snow Blowers/Throwers on the Market.
>>MTD makes the Majority of these, but they are Marketed under Different Brand Names.
>>Myself, I like the Toro/Wheel Horse Brand.
>>I Suggest you go to This Site Addy; http://www.toro.com/home/snowthrowers/gastwostage/index.html (I like the 726OE @ this Site Addy; http://www.toro.com/home/snowthrowers/gastwostage/726oe.html) or Your Local Dealer and Look at the Snow Blowers/Throwers Avaliable.
>>To View MTD Snow Blowers/Throwers use, use this Site Addy; http://www.snowblowersdirect.com/brand/yard_machines_two_stage.php and then Look at the 3 Units that are Shown.
>>You can Compare the MTD and Toro Brands and this should get you Started.
>>Choose a Unit that is Slightly Larger in HP than what you Feel you Require.
>>If your Area of Habitation is Hilly, then a Snow Blower/Thrower with the Track Drive System is the Better Choice.
>>Any OEM Snow Blower/Thrower will usually Perform as well as Another OEM Model as long as the Unit is Properly Maintained and Serviced Routinely.
>>I Hope this Helps.
>>Till Next Time. May All Your Mechanical Problems be SMALL ONES and as Always, May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy.

Best Wishes and Good Luck
