Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): stihl 16 chainsaw, head gasket, poof

started my chainsaw today and it was like a poof of air blew out of the side of the engine. after that it would not start and sounded like it had no compression when trying to start it again. Im thinking it blew a head gasket,any help or suggestions would be appreciated thank you

Take the muffler cover off, this will allow you to view the piston,
take the plug out too, then look at the piston while pulling the
rope slowly.  Also look at the piston closely, does it look damaged?

Check these thing out, and let me know what model number your saw is,
and tell me what you see.
