Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): John Deere L120, john deere l120, center bolt

Question
would you be so kind as to tell me how to replace the pto clutch which engages the blades step by step. thanks so much David

Answer
Hello David:

>>Remove the Spark Plug/s.
>>Remove the Belt from Around the PTO Unit.
>>Disconnect the PTO Electrical Lead.
>>Remove the Center Bolt from the PTO (Crankshaft Bolt) and the Unit should Slide Off the Crankshaft.
>>It May be Easier to Perform this with the Mower Deck Removed from Under the Mower.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Mower at this Site Addy, http://jdpc.deere.com/jdpc/servlet/com.deere.u90490.partscatalog.view.servlets.H... and Enter the Model Numbers L120 and Click Find. Then Select your Model from the Search Results Area. Then Select the Sectional File. Then Select the Section of the Mower you Wish to View Online. *You can Drag the View Windows for Better Viewing.*
>>The PTO is Shown in the "Power Train" File in the "Belt Drive and Idlers" Sub File.
>>If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Happy. Thanks.

Good Luck
