Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Electronic Module, arborist site, stihl 028

Question
I have a Stihl 028 FB that I am about to install electronic ignition in place of points & condenser. I really can't figure installation out with instructions that came with the module (Oregon Universal Ignition Module 33-053). Do I remove the points and condenser and/or the coil? Where does the Module mount -- under flywheel? What triggers the Module?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I asked this question on the arborist site and didn't really get the answer I need.
Thanks!

Answer
Hello Ronnie:

>>Most of the Universal Ign Modules Replace the Point Set and the Point Set Does Not have to be Removed, just Disconnected from the Ign Circuit.
>>This Ign Unit is the Same as the Nova ll Ign Module (Rotary # 8687) that is Sold by Most Small Engine Service Centers.
>>The Plus (+) Side is Attached to the Cut Off Wire and Small Coil Wire.
>>The Negative (-) is Attached to Any Part of the Engine so it Does Not Melt but Provides a Good Ground.
>>The Ign Unit itself can be Mounted to the Body or Frame of the Unit.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
