Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Primer problem with a MTD 317E610E00 snow thrower, vent hole, snow thrower

Engine does not start, found that no gas is getting to carburetor bowl.  Have check that fuel valve is open and working.  Pushed on primer covering vent hole and still not gas gets in.  Blower has been sitting for about 2 years.  I put new gas in and drained out carburetor bowl, but can not get gas to fill the bowl back up with new gas.

You will have to remove, dis-assemble and clean the carb with compressed air from an air compressor and carburetor cleaner.

Replace the inlet needle seat, inlet needle and float bowl gasket.  I would probably replace the float as well.
