Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): wood chipper, flail, model numbers

Question
I have a used 8hp yard works wood chipper. Do you have to do any sharpening of the blades. It seems to be dull when chipping but the engine is running great.

Answer
Hello Rob:

>>The Only Blades Inside the Chipper are the Flail Blades and these are Not Sharpened.
>>From your Description it Sounds like a Few of the Flail Blades are Frozen and Require Servicing.
>>When the Flail Blades Freeze/Stick, you have Less Blades doing the Chipping and this Causes Slower Chipping like the Blades are Dull.
>>Send me the Model Numbers Off the Unit, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you.
>>Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag, if I Missed Something or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Thanks.

Good Luck
