Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): honda-no spark, bush hog, tiny gap

Question
i have a bush hog with a Honda 11 hp engine (gv400).  it wont start (it doesnt even try, even with ether).  i verified that the shutoff switch is working, even bypassed it.  if i put a wire on the plug wire and ground it, i get a small spark.  if i put a spark plug in the plug wire and ground it, nothing.  i replaced the plug and even tried a tiny gap and still no spark.  i also double checked that the plug wire is making good contact with the plug.  im assuming the problem is the coil?  the coil is under the flywheel and i cant figure out how to get it off.  any advice or guidance is appreciated.

Answer
Carl to remove the flywheel you have to remove the flywheel throw out bearing all the tools you need to do this are sold at your local Lawn equipment repair shop Just ask for a flywheel removal kit and they will get you what you need but also regap the magneto points to .025" this may also improve spark performance
