I have a Craftsman Lawn Tractor Model No. 917.270514, Serial No. 062899BO26728.  A friend gave me a Double Bag Unit Model No. 917.249791, Serial No. 050902TO20636.  Will this bagger fit my lawn tractor?  It appears as if it is missing a lower tube and a mounting bracket?  What do I need to buy to make the unit fit my tractor?

It is the parts breakdown for your bagger.  Look for the missing parts and order from Sears.  To answer will it fit other are two answers.

Will the bag frame mount on the back of the tractor?

Does the boot fit your deck?  Sears does not offer this information on line very much.  They would rather sell you a new one.  You could call the store and ask them if they have a baggier for your tractor.  Then go to the store and look at it on a tractor.  Visually inspect it and you may be able to see how it mounts.  Either than that you have order operators and service manuals from Sears
