Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): clutch woes, northern tool, time and trouble

John, we recently purchased a kohler ch20s 64501 engine with a 1-7/16" pto shaft. The original motor was a kohler 64510 w/ a 1-1/8 shaft. There was a mix up from northern tool. Can I buy a clutch with the 1-7/16" id or do i need to send the new engine back?

The Way Products are Manufactured Today, it would Serve you Better to Send the Engine Back, Get the Correct Engine and Use the Correct PTO. I have "Been There, Done That" on Several Occasions and it is Not Worth the Time and Trouble. If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem,  I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
