Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): cub cadet 1042, engine model type, cub cadet 1042

Question
My mower shut off with my wife riding it and I think it was the low oil cut off switch.  How do you reset that switch and where is it?

Answer
Change the oil or replace the switch.  Can you send me the mower model number located on a sticker usually near the rear fender area, format xxx-xxx-xxxx, and the engine model, type and number of the engine.  The engine numbers will either be stamped in the metal engine shroud or on a sticker on the engine housing.

Let me know so I can look up which switch you have.
