Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Fuel leakage, honda gx240, fuel leakage

Question
I am experiencing a fuel leak by the fuel strainer cup.  It does not appear to be the o-ring in the cup's seat because it has been replaced.  Is it possible that the float level is too high, allowing fuel leakage from another location?  If it is a float level problem, how is it adjusted on the Honda Gx240 engine?   Thanks for your help.

Have you checked the drain screw? The float if it is not correct will cause flooding or if the needle seat is not seating correctly that may be a problem also.Take off the carb and turn it up side down AFTER YOU GET ALL THE FUEL OUT see how the float seats it should be level, also you can try hook up a small fuel line to the carb and try blowing in it. take the float and start lifting it up and see where it cuts off you can adjust it then
