Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Toro self propel not propelling, assembly drawings, screw heads

Question
QUESTION: I have a Toro self-propelled(front wheel) that the cable that engages the self propel feature is too slack to engage.  I think I can adjust the cable if I can get to it, but I can't figure out how to remove the plastic cover without breaking it.  How does it release?

ANSWER: Hello Louis:

Depending on the Model Makes a Difference. You can View a Breakdown/IPL of the Mower at this Site Addy, https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/default.cfm and Select Start Parts Viewer. Now Enter the Model Numbers. Now Select View Assembly Drawings. If you Can Not Figure Out How to Remove the Cover Using the Breakdown, then Send me the Model Numbers Off the Mower, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.

Hi Louis:

I Just Read your Post in the Comments and Ratings Section. Remove the Screws #18 from the Cover. Usually you Tilt the Mower Deck and the Screw Heads are Accessable from Under the Mower Body. Hope this Helps. I am Here if You Require More Assistance. Let me Know What Happens, Please. Thanks.
