Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): snowblower, air mixture, tecumseh engine

I have a snowblower that i am trying to get ready for the winter. it has a techumseh engine and the carb does have a bowl.the problem that i am having is that after cleaning the carb it will only run correctly with the choke on full or half choke what could be the problem here thank you brad

Hello Brad:

There are Several Possible Causes. Sucking Air at the Intake Gasket. If yes, they May be Out of Adjustment. Does this Carburetor have Air Mixture Screws? Was the Carburetor Soaked Overnight? Send me the Model and Type Numbers Off the Engine, Please. With these I can Locate the Proper Manual and Better Assist you.
