Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): blades, rubber hammer, impact driver

Question
I have a Cub Cadet Commercial mower "The Tank" 48 inch cut. I need to replace the blades but, they wont come out. Which way should I be turning to loosen the screw.

The nut for the blades comes out in a counter clock wise direction, You will need to use a impact driver if you have one or a socket  with a breaker bar put a piece of wood in the blade swing to keep it from moving and use a rubber hammer on it. You will need to wear glove as you will skin your knuckles and finger up if you don't.
