Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): engine hour meter on Cub Cadet Z force 50, cub cadet z force, fish joke

Question
I recently purchased a new Cub Cadet Z force 50 with 23 HP Kohler engine.  It runs fine but I noticed that the engine Hr. meter has stopped at 3.9 Hr. I estimate that I have about 6-7 hours on the mower.  On the meter a code, 1LL is in front of the 3.6.  I checked all of the books that came with the mower and have found nothing about codes or how to start the hr. meter.  I thought that the 1LL could indicate a low level of something but I checked the engine oil and hydraulic oil and they are normal. HELP ! What does the code mean and how do I get the hr. meter working?

Answer
Sorry, Charlie.

Wow that just sounded like a bad tuna fish joke.  My guess is you have a meter suffering from UV ray poisoning.  Replace the hour meter.  An hour meter is really extremely reliable. From my experience if they fail it will be in the first 5 hours.

This link will let you down load an owners amnual.  If the code means anything it will be in the o manual.
