Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snapper push mower, snapper push mower, snapper mower

Question
I have a 4 hp Snapper mower that is not getting an firing.  I have cleaned the magneto and still no fire to the plug, it does not look like there are any points to it so what do you reccomend?

Answer
 Hello Joe:

Disconnect the Coil Shut Off Wire. If the Engine Fires, then the Shut Off Switch is Bad. If the Engine Does Not Fire, then the Coil/Ignition Module is Bad. Most Push Mower Engines have the Magnetron Coil. This Coil has It's Own Module Built in so to Speak. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
