Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman trimmer dies when throttled, gas trimmer, exhaust port

Question
My Craftsman 15 inch 31cc gas trimmer will start fine and run fine until I pull the trigger then it bogs out and dies.
Help please

 Hello Todd:

 Remove the Muffler and Check the Exhaust Port and Muffler for Blockage. Change the In Tank Filter. If these are Good, then Remove, Disassemble the Carburetor and Soak the Carburetor Overnight in Carburetor Cleaner. Then Blow Out the Passages and Install New Kit. Hope this Helps.
